Join us in-person or online as we commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus and His death at Calvary at our 7:30pm Good Friday service. Our Life Theatre Ministry will present “The Unauthorized Trial of Christ” written by Kristen Herring-Simmons.

No other trial has affected the course of history like the trial of Jesus Christ.  Historians have since pointed out that a capital trial being held in the cloak of night was against Jewish law. With all of the inconsistencies found within the trial it causes one to wonder what would happen if these events were judged in a modern-day court of law?  “The Unauthorized Trial of Christ” addresses this question by placing all of the witnesses and key players in the original trial of Jesus on the stand in 2026.  The audience will get the opportunity to determine if they would have found Jesus guilty or innocent.  This unique look at the events leading up to the foundational moment of Christianity will never have you look at Good Friday the same.  “He was denied due process so we could escape ours.”
